The Lexington Scottish Rite Foundation
The Lexington Scottish Rite Foundation sponser Rite Care Language Disorders Clinics in Lexington and Hazard. The Centers provide speech-impaired children between the ages of two and five with professional treatment and speech correction therapy.
Clinics are located at Horn-Richardson and Associates in Lexington and East Kentucky Therapy, Inc. in Hazard. Over 35 children have been treated in Lexington and 22 have received care in the Hazard Clinic.
The Foundation pays up to $2,000 per child for treatment. In recent years, the Foundation has supported therapy to keep about 20 in the program at one time. The major goal of the Foundation is to help more children by doubling the number receiving treatment. To do that, we need the help of every member in two ways. Making a generous tax deductivle contribution is the first way. Asking businesses and individuals in your community for a gift is another. Let them know what the Lexington Scottish Rite of Freemasonry is doing to help children across central and eastern Kentucky.
We are most grateful to our members who contribute through individual donations and Scottish Rite sponsored events such as the annual ham breakfast. We are especially grateful to the E. O. Robinson Mountain fund for their generosity which made it possible for us to establish the Rite Care Clinic in Hazard.
Please support this important philanthropic work by making a generous tax deductible gift today. Please send your check to:
